Which of us does not dream of a beautiful and flat belly? Excessive kilograms are a problem for many of us. In addition to the fact that you need to lose them, it is worth starting a rational diet. What is the diet for a flat stomach? Implement its principles immediately, and you will not have to wait long for results!

The menu is an important element in the diet for a flat stomach – important, but not the priority. The most important thing is to choose the right products. They should be rich in fibre, provide the body with unsaturated fatty acids and ensure the feeling of satiety. You should also eat in accordance with your daily calorie limit, because following this rule speeds up fat burning and helps you achieve your dream goal, which is a flat stomach. How to achieve such an effect without major sacrifices?

Effective diet for a flat stomach

The diet for a flat stomach should be rich only in low-calorie products. The most important thing is to reduce body fat, so when following it, it is important that we are able to create a negative calorie balance of about 15%, less than the standard calorie requirements

Our menu should also include products rich in fiber, which regulate the work of the digestive tract. The icing on the cake (of course only the proverbial one) are vegetables, fruit, protein and products containing small amounts of simple sugars.

Let vegetables and fruit reign, but everything in moderation

In a diet for a flat stomach an important role is played by vegetables. It is accepted that they should be added to each meal. Nutritionists themselves recommend that you prepare small portions containing about 150 g. For the winter period, it is worth preparing your own pickles, because outside the spring-summer season vegetables are much more expensive and unfortunately not as rich in minerals as in the season. Which vegetables are the best to reach for? It is worth eating: cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini and carrots – they help reduce body fat.

Fruits are also important because they help to burn fat tissue and at the same time they stimulate intestinal work. They support the elimination of toxins from the body. Which fruits will be the healthiest? Forest fruits for sure, because they are responsible for protecting the digestive system, among other things. Blackberries, blueberries or strawberries help to avoid infections and are helpful in digestion. Berries are also excellent as a natural body cleanser from toxins.

It is better to avoid these products!

Fried foods are the enemy of a flat belly diet. All battered foods, which most people like to coat e.g. meats with, are a major source of fat that is harmful for weight reduction. Instead of breading and frying, start baking and grilling. Another enemy of a low-calorie and healthy diet are sugary and carbonated drinks. Why? Because in their composition there are mostly simple sugars, which contribute to unwanted fermentation in the intestines, resulting in bloating.

Dairy is also a pest and interferes with achieving a flat belly. Lactose, the sugar found in milk, is a hard product to digest, especially for people who have stomach problems. It is best to give up dairy products, replacing them with plant-based alternatives (for example, choose oat drink instead of milk).

White bread is also not conducive to losing excess weight, because it contains a lot of simple sugars, which are responsible for increasing insulin levels in the blood, which may result in the accumulation of unnecessary fat around the waist

Take control of stress

Did you know that prolonged stress causes your brain to shrink and your belly to grow? Constantly elevated levels of the stress hormone cause blood sugar and cholesterol levels to rise. It can also contribute to depression and support the accumulation of belly fat. Avoid stress as much as possible! Relax after work, take up a sport or read a book in peace and quiet.
